Sometimes, anyway.
First attempt at digitally painting something. I’m surprising myself more and more as I keep working on it— I guess I’ve been picking up color theory and light bouncing and all that after studying so long. Concepts I never really thought I understood are unfolding in front of me, and I’m really impressed.
Obviously still a WIP, lots to continue working on, lots to fix still.

Fifteen or twenty minutes while I was half asleep the other day, but wanted to use some creative energy.

I like using paint. It forces me to go rough and not overanalyze. If something is wrong I have to see it, deal with it, and move on.
Like I did with her off-balance eyes haha.

Drew this at random a while back, was actually quite proud of it. Other than the left eye, which is too close/high and unfortunately noticed when I had mostly finished shading it. I would like to fix that digitally if I ever set up my scanner. (Uploading most of these from my cell, forgive the quality.)
